Terms of Use

Last updated July 22, 2026

By using TenantShield (“the App”), operated by ImmersiVerse (“we,” “us”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What this is — and what it is not

The App is a self-help tool. It helps you understand an eviction case filed against you, organize your own evidence, and prepare documents that you review and file yourself.

We are not a law firm. We are not your lawyer. Using the App does not create an attorney-client relationship. Nothing in the App is legal advice. The App gives legal information and helps assemble documents you direct; it does not tell you what you should do in your specific case. Every decision — which defenses to raise, what to file, whether to settle — is yours.

2. Not a substitute for a lawyer

Eviction is a legal proceeding with real deadlines and serious consequences, including losing your home. Laws change and vary by state, county, and city, and your situation may have details the App cannot account for. You should talk to a lawyer or a legal-aid attorney. The App shows you how to reach free and low-cost help, and we urge you to use it.

3. Deadlines

Any deadline the App shows is an estimate and may be wrong. Courts count days in ways your paperwork may not show, and rules change. Always confirm your deadline with the court clerk and your court papers. We are not responsible for a missed deadline.

4. You file your own documents

The App does not file anything with any court. It prepares drafts for you to review, sign, and file yourself. You are responsible for reviewing every document, confirming it is correct for your case, and filing it correctly and on time with the right court.

5. Accuracy and “as is”

We work to keep the App’s information accurate and current, but we do not guarantee it is complete, correct, or up to date for your situation. The App is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the App, including any outcome in your case.

6. Your information

Your case stays on your device. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
